Skill Assessment Options:
The following options are available for conducting a self-assessment
of your teaching skills:
Full assessment - This option allows you to determine
your strengths and weaknesses relative to five critical
teaching skills that research has shown impacts student
learning and achievement. The results of the full assessment
can be forwarded to one of our teacher education partners
to initiate coursework that can lead to teacher certification
and eventual job placement within a district.
Time requirement: Approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes
Cost: $63
Individual skill assessment - This option allows
you to determine your relative strengths and weaknesses
within a single skill area. You can register for any of
the five teaching skill assessments.
Time requirement: Approximately 15 minutes (per skill)
Cost: $15 (per skill)
Overview skill assessment - This option provides
a relatively quick yet comprehensive assessment across all
five critical teaching skills. Based on the results from
this assessment, you will have the option to complete the
full assessment or complete individual skill assessments
at a discounted rate.
Time requirements: Approximately 30 minutes
Cost: $29
