Program Summary
Leadership Online and Marquette University work together
to provide online teacher education courses. The program can
provide credit toward a graduate education degree. The program
uses the results of the Assessment Tools for Teaching Proficiency
to assist in tailoring course selection to meet individual
needs. Assigned mentors also use these results to help focus
the mentoring relationship.

Performance Learning System (PLS) has extensive partnerships
with school districts across the nation and with selected
colleges of education. PLS offers on-site seminars as well
as online professional development resources and obtain credit
toward a graduate education degree. PLS has been offering
quality teacher professional development services for over
10 years. PLS uses the results of Assessment Tools for Teaching
Proficiency system to tailor professional development resources
to individual teacher needs. Assigned mentors also use these
results to help focus the mentoring relationship.

activities allow participants to complete most program requirements
from distant locations. Courses are augmented with classroom
practicum activities to promote transfer of skills. Many of
the online courses are offered at two week intervals to accommodate
most teachers schedules.
